                                                                                  My Eagle Scout Project!

Throughout my life, one of my goals through grade school was to graduate from the Boy Scouts of America organization as an Eagle Scout. I had this dream very early in my life, so I gained the privilege of a wonderful 12 years as a scout. In order to fulfill my desire of becoming an Eagle Scout, I had to exit my introverted comfort zone and learn how to become a leader. I was taught this skill throughout the program, but as a final test I had to prove my leadership to the BSA Counsel by completing a community driven project that was created and lead by me. My project was very important to me, and therefore I decided that my Eagle project was going to be something that aligned with my personal beliefs, which I decided was caring for nature. I spent months of time researching and planning for the project, before I gathered a group of around 20 people to build and install bird houses for a local park that I cared for deeply. Overall the project accumulated 6 bird houses, ~150 man hours, and an experience that I will respect for my entire life.
